Chad had his MRI yesterday. I am not sure when we will get the results of those but I am praying everything looks as it should and his episode a week and a half ago will just be a distant memory.
He also had an eye consultation and while he does have astigmatism, his eyes otherwise look in great health. He has been given a prescription but whether or not he actually needs glasses is left up to popular opinion. And whether he'd ever actually wear them is highly unlikely but it may be worth it if it helps with the headaches. Only time will tell.
Other than that, he has his usual aches and pains and cramping in his belly. We'll continue taking it one day at a time and I'll be sure to post once we get the MRI results.
Thanks to everyone for your continued support, love and prayers.
This is the story of Chad's fight against Appendix Cancer. On January 7, 2015 Chad found out just how special he was when he was told that not only did he have Cancer but it was extremely rare and very aggressive. Chad has always taken life by storm - so why stop now? Some may have crumpled and fell but the soldier in him took over and he decided then and there he had an infinite number of reasons to kick Cancer's ass. The road will never be easy but he will fight - and he will win.
Phew..Keeping up the praying and the positive vibes. Let me know if you need ANYTHING!! <3
ReplyDeleteI have an Astigmatism. The regular glasses are fine but will require bifocals, which take a lot of adjustment.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I have found that my eyes hurt the most when I try to read small print, so, I have a pair of $2 reading glasses (2x), that I use when I need to see my keyboard or read a package label. Helps a lot.
keeping you and Chad in my prayers. <3
