Chad had nerve ablation done in his lower back. There were a series of appointments prior to this with numbing shots, etc., but the actual ablation happened in the wee hours of Jan 22. The procedure seems to have gone fine, outside some basic side effects, such as tenderness/soreness at the injection site and the need to urinate excessively, he seems to be fine. Whether or not it will alleviate the lower back pain or not remains to be seen!
We are hopeful, that in time, some of the never-ending pain he feels will subside.
Also - I do not post here often anymore (I suppose that is a great thing) but Chad just celebrated 10 Years Cancer Free on January 6th! His official date is March but.. yay!
